God created the entire world in seven days. Seven Days! Impressive, yes. Efficient, yes. Too hasty, also yes. In Townsman of a Stiller Town, God has overlooked one big thing  – population. He must solve an overpopulation problem, not on Earth, but rather in Heaven.

 

Luckily the gatekeeper himself, Saint Peter pitches “The Fourth”, a game show shot in Purgatory in which four members of a lineage compete for admittance into Heaven. Watching ancestors (particularly those with ethnic backgrounds) prove whose life is the worthiest becomes ratings gold.  When Bam Evers, a black NBA superstar dies of cardiac arrest during the playoffs, he must  contend for a place in Heaven against an artist, a Harlem Hellfighter, and a former slave.  Peter invites you to join our studio audience and laugh, cheer, jeer, or mock your favorites as they play "The Fourth".
